πŸ”…For the purpose of length I’m doing this sped up. I am NOT a runner but I need a warm up before I go to weights. I go sprint-rest intervals. πŸ”…I start off speed walking for 5 minutes. Then I sprint (speed depends on how lazy I am πŸ™ƒ) for 3 minutes, rest for 1, sprint for 3, rest for one, and so on until I feel warmed up. πŸ”…Fun fact: holding your arms above your heart helps you can’t your breath faster πŸ˜‰

Just like I keep reminding you guys, I have to remind myself and this is the best way. πŸ“½ Just look at the difference! The first image was a good start but by repositioning my arms and pushing my back straight up I’m now getting a deeper stretch in my back leg, spine, and arms!

What I’m going to be focusing on the next 2 months is the splits! πŸ‘€ I used to be able to do them without stretching but it’s been so long and I lost it πŸ˜ͺ The most important thing to remember is that it takes time! When you’re holding theses stretches make sure you’re focusing on you’re breathing and well as form. It’s okay to push yourself a little but you don’t want over do it πŸ’œ This is just a clip of my 45 minute stretch but this happens to be my constant go to because it provides one of the deepest leg stretches you can get.

Okayyyyy so a lot of people ask me the trick to these two positions and I’m here to tell you that it’s allllll about your hand placement! βš–οΈ If you zoom into the photos you can see my head is placed directly over the center of the back of my palms. My right Palm is positioned over my left leaving space in the middle creating gap in the shape of a triangle πŸ–πŸΌπŸ“ and I just plop my head in there πŸ™πŸ½ What this does essentially is the same concept as a golf tee ⛳️ You’re creating a sort of pocket, or indent, for your head to balance on. Comment below if you want me to post a video showing how I get up, && what I did to get the strength & balance to hold & play around with this position πŸ₯°πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ€™πŸ½
