I found a new toy that completely enhanced my life yesterday !!! It's called a Supernote Nomad.
It's got kindle energy and it's an electronic notepad with a sick clicky pen and now I want one!!! I drew on it for an hour and a half while my friends caught up and it made my whole night hahaha. I love being alone in my own world around other people !!

the two photos at the end: first are markings for where my body went for the 2hr pose
the last are 6-in markers at the studio with a photographer (separate of this class) who was trying to mimic the style of painter Euan Uglow-- whose works were perspective specific. For our photo shoot, reference photos were taken every six inches and collaged together to create a more equally scaled perspective, instead of taking one photo and having the top or bottom warped in some way. I've attached references of Euan's work-- for some of his paintings he took years to complete, and they are etched with perspective lines!

ANOTHER figure modeling session, this time at the Zorthian Ranch in Altadena, CA... watch the videos to understand the vibe 😅
the barn was quite dusty, the building very old and unkempt. gnats were flying around our faces and it was difficult not to swat them away while posing. so far the most people in attendance aside from the long-pose painting session. overall a very unique experience. now that I know what to expect I will be able to prepare a bit better if I'm asked to return.

The teacher said no black as it's harder to see shadows with, so I'm going with the nice blue top and tan biker shorts! This feels classy to me for the scenario. And then I also wanted to see what I looked like in those matching workout outfits 😅

I didn't realize someone took a photo of me while posing (that's not a good thing... don't do that!! I had to tell them I was so uncomfortable knowing this happened) (and that took me three days to admit!), but I wanted to share with you some of the illustrations that came from this one, as you may have seen in the recap video I shared ❤️

AHHHHH. As some of yall know I am going all in on my music project, and part of this process is making merch (and putting out singles, and booking a tour, and promoting on instagram and mailing list and here and patreon, and getting people to shows...&&&&&&&&).
I am so pleased to show you my mockup for a shirt with my single art (drawn by Scott Milton), and the two screen printed tests I just received from my local screenprinter.
Each shirt and tote will cost me $9, and I'm trying to get 30 shirts and 15 totes for tour, which will cost me $405.
I'm doing a fundraiser here to help me cover the cost!
I made it $500 because OF takes 20% of everything I earn.

I just did my first long pose session in a long time! From 9am-12pm I held this pose in 20-25 minute increments and these painters made magic.
Side note, I am laughing so hard at my farmers tan 🤣 These folks are pros DAMN.
