Just sharing some more pics from this week… Getting out on the water is the pay off (especially when Mother Nature gifts us a full consecutive week of flat seas), but a lot of time & energy goes into prepping the boat, tackle, baitt, etc… and then, even more time goes into clean-up/maintenance and cleaning/packaging fish. Thought some of you would like to see a bit of that stuff… pics in order:
1 - snorkeling over a school of mahi (1000+ feet deep in this part of the Gulf Stream) 2 - 30 lb Cobia 3 - same Cobia 4 - B cleaning Cobia 5 - packaging fish 6 - fish fillets 7 - left over scraps from filleting fish (In another little step toward a more sustainable existence, I’ve started blending up all the leftover scraps/bloodlines from our fish fillets and using it for cat food 8 - homemade fancy feast 9 - two very satisfied kitties 10- well, you made it this far…
Tomorrow, we are doing 100 hour service on the boat. B picked up a nifty little oil suction thing that was on sale. It’s supposed to help drain the oil outta the boat motors quicker (and without making a mess), so we are excited to try that out…. and then, hoooooopefully, we find some time to get tangled up after being on the go go go all week. I’ll keep ya posted on that…

Hey crew. Killer charter today. 5 mahi, 3 wahoo, and an absolute STUD of a cobia…. Just finished cleaning fish and waiting for pizza to get here so we can veg out and pass out and do it all over again tomorrow!! Aaaanyway, I’m sitting here looking thru fish pics from the day and looking at our pups curled up on the couch next to us, and it’s hitting me hard at the moment… This was all made possible thru the love yall have shown us from day one. Days like today are what we live for, and we are just so f***ing grateful that yall stick around and support our dream. So, thank you. Thank you. Thank YOU…. Ahhhh pizza is here love yall sorry for the mushy mush see ya soon
Stopped by my buddy’s to drop a trailer… I ended up in the pool for a bit… that’s kinda how it goes whenever I drop by there… It’s nice having a straight bud that doesn’t give two shits about nudity/gay stuff. He talks about his wife. I talk about B (all good things of course). We shoot the shit about politics n yard projects. We pisss together outside n swim naked n there’s not a hint of sexual tension or awkwardness. I had buddies like that growing up, but at some point, it became “too gay” or “weird” to just *be* around the buddies in that way… anyway… just thinking out loud…. I’m not saying we should all hang out buck naked all the time… I get it’s not everyone’s thing... But it’s really nice to have a solid platonic bud or two that you can just let it hang out with and not worry about judgement or sex or this or that.
Aaaaaaanyway buddy has good lighting in his bathroom so hiii. Happy hump day…. ballz to the walz baby 💪
Rise n shine. Hope yall had a nice weekend. We tuned out of internet/politics/adulting/etc for the last few days and spent a lot of time catching up on busy work and just hanging out with the dogs. Was really nice… boat is finally back in the water this week, so we’ve got a heavy slate of charters lined up over the next few weeks (weather permitting 🤞)
There’s currently a hurricane rolling ashore on the other side of the state. Luckily, it did not have too much time to strengthen, but it’s still bringing some nasty weather and flooding for lots of folks up that way…. Lots of on and off rain flow for us, but nothing crazy.
In other news, we are 95% done with our little garage project. Painting and trim all done. Flooring done. Just have one more thing to finish and it’ll be ready for show time 😏
Almost 7am I’m gonna get out the door and hit the ground running this week. Hope you all get a good start too 💪
Gmorning crew. I went for an early morning skinny dip. My favorite way to start the day… Got back to my car and found myself wound up for no good reason, so I blew off some quick steam before any wild thoughts got ahold of me ;)
Just finished up a good pump with B… Boat is in the shop (getting some heavy wiring work done), so we’re just gonna keep working on the garage today… Can’t wait to show yall what we’ve been setting up in there.

Last summer, I took off to Spain/Portugal with a girlfriend of mine. It was my first (and only) Euro trip. My first trip outside the US (except for the Bahamas). Some of yall may remember some of those pics… or that rooftop in Lisbon… Aaaanyway, my absolute favorite part of the whole trip was renting a Ducati and riding down the coast of Portugal… Ever since, I’ve had the itch to go buy myself a Ducati… and lately, it’s been bad… Like really, really bad. And to make matters worse, B is actually encouraging me to “just go get one already” … I even called my dad bc he’s pretty good at talking sense into me…. But I guess he gave up on that because even he was like “just go test drive a new one”…. What I’m trying to say is, I kinda need someone to use their words and tell me that I do NOT need a Ducati right now. I do NOT need a Ducati. I do NOT need to buy a multistrada 1260 S . I do not need 4 bikes in one, with the acceleration and cornering of a sport bike and the comfort of a touring bike. I do not need a bike that can cruise at 160 mph (even loaded down with fuel and gear), while still being able to go off road 🤤 …I definitely don’t need an 8 gallon fuel tank that would let me ride for hours without stopping… Nooooope don’t need it. I mean I cooooould trade my Harley in so at least that’ll save on $$$ and I wont be like hoarding multiple bikes… but also the world is on fire and I’m sitting here worried about buying another bike. What an asshole. Someone just tell me I’m an asshole for buying this thing before I actually buy it please.

Ps- yall watching this storm in the Caribbean? Cat 5 already. Holy moly. Record breaker on all fronts. Fastest spin up. Earliest spin up. Lowest latitude spin up…. If this is an indication of the what the rest of the season is gonna be like- we’re a bit worried… I told yall how hot the water was already in the Bahamas in May…. Now they’re saying the water has already warmed up to temps that we typically wouldn’t hit until September!! Insane.
I had been thinking…Im sure some of yall have heard of the Cajun Nation? It’s sorta just a bunch of regular folks that ride out after a storm and help with water rescues… anyway, I had been thinking about finding a little 10-12 ft flat bttm aluminum boat on a trailer so we’re ready to deploy and help out too… After seeing this storm blow up this early in the season, I think the time for thinking is over. Gonna pull the trigger asap so we’re ready to roll.

Happy Friday crew. Quick rundown: Lots of projects going on around here (a couple that should personally benefit some of you)… Nelly jelly belly butt has dropped the Mother Teresa act and is on a full puppy reign-of-terror, so I’ve been spending a lot of time with her, and changing her bandages and trying to train her and clean and all that. She’s probably got another 7-10 days before her wound is completely healed and then we can get her out on the water…
We got to see Alanis Morissette last night. She looked and sounded incredible. She hit pretty much all of Jagged Little Pill and mixed it in with her newer songs. Never missed a note. Joan Jet opened so that was cool too. Great crowd. Good vibes all around… Shout out to my pen pal for sending those tickets my way ;)
I’m gonna try my absolute best to wrap up the full Maine video and some more Bahamas video today. Appreciate the patience on that… ( to quote Alanis- that’s not lip service. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- I really do appreciate that yall let me fall off the radar for a week without hounding me about it… I like to think I always pull through for ya in the end ;)
