I was able to get funding that will allow me to do weekly therapy until the end of the year!🥳🥳 most of this year I’ve been very inconsistent with therapy because of the cost and being low income, so I’m really grateful I’m going to be able to go consistently for four months🥹. I had my first appointment in ~two months last week, and have another appointment tomorrow!🥰 being able to go more consistently should really help with my ability to work and be consistent on here!🥳🥰
I am currently struggling with trying to get a doctors appointment to renew my medications and hopefully get a referral to change my medications, in my city it’s impossible to get a family doctor (wait lists are 5+ years long) and there are very few clinics. If I can’t get an appointment anywhere I am going to have to turn to online telehealth services which are not always fully covered by provincial health care, so I may need to post a fundraiser to help pay for an appointment 🥲🥲🥲🥲
If you are in British Columbia, please consider voting anything other than conservatives in October. They are planning to privatize health care which has already proven horrible in a) the US and b) Alberta. Privatizing health care in Canada only benefits the politicians that will invest in private clinics, and it will make getting health care impossible for the majority of the population. 🖤🖤🖤
