I lost my cap for my lens when I was shooting a concert! 😓 However in the meantime when you’re waiting for your replacement to arrive, it’s good to place the unprotected lens in a velvet bad facing downwards to avoid messing up its delicate surface 😄

If you wanna make your subject pop out in portrait mode, use an aperture of around f/2.8 to f/5.6 to make the background behind your subject more blurred out. This will help remove distracting backgrounds and make your subject stand out.

Did you know that keeping both eyes opening when shooting has a few advantages? 👀 When trying to capture portrait photos, it allows you to connect with your subjects as they can look at you in the eye for reassurance. But it also allows you to see what’s out of frame in order to estimate when your subject might show up in frame to get the best shot! 📸
