The vet came by to check on my mares – they’re getting inseminated in three weeks, and trust me, it’s not nearly as romantic as it sounds.
I’ve been mucking out stalls like a woman on a mission, feeding the whole zoo, doing laundry, and cleaning the house so thoroughly even the dust gave up.
Luckily, my amazing mom took care of my son today, so I could finally catch up on everything… and maybe save a little energy for tonight.
I’m having company over – and let’s just say, there won’t be any horseback riding, but something else might get ridden.
