It's especially important to wear gloves while painting, because sometimes you get excited, stroke harder, and you end up spilling some on the floor or all over yourself. Long slow strokes are great if you want to stain a large wall surface evenly. Go for short and more focused strokes if you aim to just quickly fill a small gap 👌
