I wanted to let everyone know a few things.
First, thank you all for your messages, donations and kindness. I have seen and read every single one, I just haven’t had it in me to respond.
Second, I wanted to say, I’m not ok. I’m trying to be, but I’m not. There are days where a little light breaks through and I enjoy it while I can. But for the most part, it’s been almost 2 months, and it feels like it’s been 2 days. I’ve never felt this kind of pain before. I don’t know how I’m supposed to grieve this loss. My brother was my person, and I had to eulogize him. Pack his things. Claim his cremains. And there’s still so much left to do. But as the person closest to him and his big sister, he needs me, and I’m taking care of him like he’d take care of me.
I want to come back. This is an outlet. But I need just a little more time.
