


Two years ago I was told I had pre-diabetes (insulin resistance). The funny thing is that I was diagnosed in my peak fitness era when I was exercising a lot (maybe a bit excessively) and tracking my macros!!
I'm starting to get back into the groove of moving my body again and gaining more muscle mass. I love sweet stuff but I'm trying to cut down on processed foods and attempt to eat clean in a sustainable way. Sometimes it's difficult because I travel a lot so I don't have as much control over my diet (eg when I'm traveling on a long haul flight well... you kinda gotta eat what they give you right?).
I hope I can turn my borderline diabetes around and if not... thank god I'm not born in America and instead born in Australia where insulin is heavily subsidised.
