I made a welcome message. I gave this place my banking information and filled out more forms and went through more verification steps. Getting this place set up! The tip jar works, btw! And I humbly and gratefully any tips no matter how small or big! Thank you so much! Just waiting for my “go live” button to appear! That’s the feature I want the most.

Yesterday I learned about Native American “trail marker trees” sometimes called marker or signal trees. They would bend a new tree so that it would grow with a bend in it and this is how they marked where they were going or pointing to a landmark like water. I have some of these trees in my woods! This weekend I’m going to go on a huge hunt for more of these trees.
The place where it bends has a little stump. That’s one of the signs it was done by a person and not just the wind or whatever. Still figuring out why that is. Is has something to do with the rope used to bend the tree. Here are some examples from my woods! So exciting!
