For those of you who this is news to: we left Arizona behind for now bc it’s cold as fuck there and we were spending too much money keeping warm. 🤪 Not being able to resupply on propane (our heat source) any closer than an hour away also did not help. Lol.
When we left I was feeling like a failure, but I’ve revised my thinking on that. Even though we failed in our original goal, we gained a crazy amount of knowledge and experience along the way. We saw wild horses, caught the biggest brown trout we’ve ever caught, seen some of the most beautiful parts of the country, learned a ton about boating on the river, spent two months mostly away from people and doing something we love. And I wouldn’t change it for the world.

So don’t let fear of failure keep you from doing what you love, my darlings. You only have one life to live and you should fill this life with as much adventure as you can!
