I got together with two old friends, both married moms. They have no idea what I've been up to lately. After a couple of drinks, I let it slip that I've been flirting quite a bit with a trainer at the gym and Jett doesn't mind.
They had a ton of questions. I let them know it's been mostly innocent but makes going to the gym more exciting. Then one friend let it slip. She has a crush on a guy at the gym. She began to describe him, "a tall confident, almost cocky, black guy..." I couldn't wait to tell Jett. She insists nothing ever happened with her gym crush, and she couldn't believe I actually gave a guy from the gym my number.
But then, the bartender came over to our table to check on us. Low and behold, according to my friend, he looked A LOT like her flirty friend from the gym. He was hot, I have to admit it. I couldn't stop looking at his thick fingers and huge hands.
Anyway, my two friends and I each gave him our phone numbers, so he could keep us up to date about special events at the bottomless mimosa spot. But to be honest, I don't think that's why he wanted our numbers. What do you guys think? Was he just being nice and genuinely wants to keep us up to date on brunch promotions?
