You're going about your day when randomly you hear a notification on your phone. Responding to the tone, you find that you have been sent a picture from the pretty lady you've been obsessing over. The photo is in no way suggestive or erotic or anything. It's just a picture of her with a sly expresion on her face. Nothing really to be concerned about - it's just a nice gesture from her.

But then you remember what she's like and what she does, so you start to wonder some things. Why has she sent you this pic? Is there something special about it? Is she hinting at something in it?

These questions start to weigh on you and you find yourself looking closely for any kind of clues, but nothing stands out. Suddenly, you get another notification. It's another picture from her.

This one is nearly identical to the first one, only her eyes are looking in a different direction. You immediately swipe back to the first photo to see what is in the direction her eyes are looking at, yet nothing still stands out.

Another notification and another picture, this time the same but her eyes looking in another different direction. As you go through the photos, more notifications and more images with her looking in different directions but still no clues as to anything in them specifically.

After spending an unhealthy amount of time combing over the images for anything, you finally give up and message her for an answer.

"Okay, I give up. What's with the pictures? There's obviously some reason for them but I just can't work out whatever code that is hidden in them."

"Code? What code? I didn't hide anything in those pics, silly."

"You didn't?"

"Not at all."

"But why all the images that are the same but looking in different directions? Surely there's some code based on the things in those directions, right?"

"No. I just know how your brain works and decided to send you some random pics with very subtle differences knowing that you'd put all your focus into them trying to see something that's not there, leading to your mind coming up with thoughts I know will be beneficial to me. I also just used the word focus because I know that will get you thinking certain things too. You're so easy now that it's almost like I don't have to do anything at all."

You stand there, still reeling from the revelation. However, you don't have much time to think on things before a final notification pops up. Again, it's from her, but this time it's a video. You open the video and it's her laughing before she snaps her fingers repeatedly and saying "Become alert now".

The video ends and you shake off your stupor. She got you good, and she barely had to do anything.
