One of my greatest gift to creating art and sharing my art is connecting with like minded women. These beautiful souls at @audriasana Michelle, Kelelah, Maya, Jasmin, Dani and more have lifted my spirits and inspired me with our beautiful heartfelt connections and collaborations. I love seeing women inspire each other and lift each other. I think it is instrumental in changing ourselves and the world. We have been collaborating to create art together at https://vimeo.com/audriasana/vod_pages where we share workout and movement practices. I met Michelle online through IG. She inspired me from the moment I saw her art https://www.instagram.com/michelle_yogogirls/ Many years later we met for the first time in person in Italy last year and did a photoshoot. Some of the content you have seen here. This year I flew to Miami to work and did some shoots with https://www.instagram.com/audriasana/ and met also https://www.instagram.com/kelelah/ Kelelah https://www.instagram.com/dellaine_yoga/ Dani and https://www.instagram.com/mayayaksa/ Maya. Some content I have also already posted. Hanging with these women reminded me how beautiful it is to be amongst women that enjoy life, celebrate life and each other. Each of them are unique and beautiful and women that are changing the world. The challenge of being body positive Yet becoming body positive isn’t simple. Finding unadulterated self-love every day is tough when we’re surrounded by pressures that continually demand we transform and conform. If we start to shift the conversation away from what we think is “wrong” in ourselves to what is wrong in the way that society treats our bodies, we may just have a more powerful effect: we may just encourage society to start celebrating every body. The truth is that your body is not the problem. It never was. Celebrating one another I made a conscious choice to live in the spirit of loving and celebrating all women for who they are, as we can do such immensely beautiful things when we all work together – in union, rather than in a spirit of competition, judgement and fear. The more we can love those who are struggling and ourselves in our own struggles, the more strength we will all have to reclaim our past, heal our hearts and love our present! Let’s give support back to our struggles and our scars so we can all heal. And let’s see self-doubt and self-loathing for the needless, fruitless activities that they are in order to make more room for true love and acceptance of ourselves.
