I was going to wait until I had something more than some phone recordings to show, but I STARTED A NEW BAND. A band that is local to me that will focus on video game music (a lot of Pokémon) and travel to conventions and other events. There are already some events we're planning to play at. We already have sax/arranger, flute/vocals/glockenspiel/melodica, ocarina/vocals/clarinet (me), a really good drummer, a really good guitarist, bass, and keys. Also our manager will dance onstage in a pikachu suit. We've been practicing and there is definitely something there. At the moment the band is called "Green Grass Grows". I can share some music previews when the promo officially starts. Did I mention I'll be in cosplay while performing, occasionally the other band members too? I'm expecting to have some expenses covered by events, but some, like the US Ocarina festival, won't cover travel or whatever. So I am doing a BOWSETTE COSPLAY specifically to fundraise for the band. This will provide for potential new instruments or musical equipment, travel, practice space rental, costumes, and whatever else we may need. I have a goal of $5,000 to kickstart the band. Sorry for keeping it a secret! I just feel like I made this big announcement and have nothing to show for it until the Bowsette stuff is ready, haha. Pic unrelated.
