As I've grown older I've embraced my Filipino roots more and more. (It was my first time in Asia this month!) There's something so beautiful about getting connected to your roots and I feel a deep passion and connection to my ancestors. While this holiday is wildly known as "Chinese New Year", it's actually equally as celebrated in the Philippines!
